The 25th Annual Women in Technology Leadership Awards Gala was held last night at the Hyatt Regency in Reston, VA. The event honored and showcased the outstanding accomplishments and contributions of some incredible female leaders across the Washington, D.C. technology community including our very own Dr. Heather Hairston who won in the nonprofit and academia category. The annual WIT Leadership Awards honors and celebrates women professionals who have demonstrated success in entrepreneurial, STEM, government, and corporate industries while inspiring colleagues, partners, and their community. Women in Technology (WIT) is the premier organization contributing to the success of professional women in the Washington, D.C. area technology community.
